Enjoy a talk and Q&A Session with Dr Richard “Harry” Harris, In June 2018 Harry and dive partner Craig Challen were key members of an international team involved in the highly succesful cave rescue in Thailand.
On 24 July 2018 Harry, along with Craig, was awarded the Star of Courage (SC) and Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) by the Governor-General of Australia. On 7 September 2018 the King of Thailand granted Harry the "Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn".
On Australia Day 2019, Harry was announced as the joint 2019 Australian of the Year with Craig.
In the interview, led by Dr Nick Prescott, gain a fascinating insight into the rescue which led to the remarkable outcome.
All funds raised during this event will support the purchase of medical equipment for the Women’s and Babies Division of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
This fundraising event includes wine and cheese tastings from 7:30pm, all proceeds support the purchase of medical equipment for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital – Women’s and Babies Division.
