Who are the Anawim? Gaining notoriety at Joeys as being for the "un-co's" who couldn't make a sporting team and had to do Palm Beach sandhill runs on a Saturday, Anawim is a Hebrew word from the Old Testament which describes the “poor ones, the lonely, the sick and the afflicted”. The Anawim were those who remained faithful to God in times of their greatest difficulty. These humble people became known as the Anawim or the “faithful remnant”, who in spite of all their difficulties kept their trust and faith in God.
Special thanks to the Royal Hotel and The Public House Management Group for their most generous support of this function.
