Food and Drinks:

This is a no-alcohol event. Refreshments and finger food will be provided. If your child/adult has allergies please BYO some snacks to be sure. (Please advise us by email after booking your tickets if you require Veg/GlutenFree meal.)

About the event:

This is 5th Annual Father Daughter Dance and is intended as a special event held for Fathers and Daughters, as both a rite of passage and a way to encourage dads and daughter to spend a special evening together celebrating their relationship.

Get dressed up, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy a fun night out on the ultimate daddy daughter date night.

Who can attend:

Women & Girls over 5 years are eligible to attend with their father (or father figure or Grandfather if Dad can't be there).

Dad's can bring more than one daughter. Daughters can bring more than one dad.

Parental supervision is required at all times.

Dad's don't forget to bring your adult daughters too - we love love see older dads modelling good parenting to younger dads.

Mums dropping off can not enter the event venue, however The Fiddler has a special meal deal available for families attending the event, to encourage you to stay at The Fiddlers other venue areas and enjoy a night with your other children or friends, whilst Dads and Daughters participate in the Father Daughter Dance Event.

Tickets:

This event is ticketed, you must present your ticket to gain entrance to the event on the night.

Ticketing is priced per person, to allow you to bring multiple daughters or dads as needed. Just select the number of people attending.

FAQs

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

Your child must be 5 years old to attend, this event is way to celebrate a milestone for your daughter.

Can I go with my dad if I'm older (eg 20 or 30 something)?

Yes of course, all daughters over 5 yrs can attend with their Dad's - it's good for young girls to see that Dad's still want to do special things even with their adult daughters.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Fiddler has lots of parking, onsite at the event. The Bus Terminal at Rouse Hill Town Centre is a short walk from The Fiddler.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Dinner and drinks are included in the ticket price, so unless you have allergy requirements you don't need to bring anything other than your ticket (and maybe a jumper if it's cold that night).

This is a no-alcohol event. Alcohol will not be served inside the event area, but you are welcome to stay and enjoy The FIddler's other entertainment areas after the event with some of the dads if you desire.

If you are bringing medication/epipens etc in a bag, please check it at door, so that it stays safe during the event.

Illness - please make a respectful and wise decision about whether your child is well enough to attend the event - we can't refund tickets (and we've keep the price low), but we also encourage you not to pass illness on other children in the community if your child really is too sick to be there. There will be another opportunity next year.

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can send through any questions to support@meninaction.com.au - we'll try to get back to you with 24 hrs

 Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you can't be there you can give your ticket to another person, eg Dad is away on business and grandad needs to stand in for him. But we can't refund tickets.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes you need to bring your ticket to the event.

What if I've lost my ticket or Forgotten it?

You will need to show us some ID (as the Dad) so we can mark you off the guest list at the entry to the event.

What is the refund policy?

The event is Not For Profit so we will be catering based on the sold tickets, we therefore can not refund your ticket price. Which is another reason why we've tried to make it affordable for everyone.
