Gardening On the Edge - Has Ended

Gardening on the Edge is a Garden Trail and Garden Market providing an opportunity for locals and visitors to the area to see a number of beautiful gardens and to attend the Garden Market. Something for the serious gardener and those interested in the beauty of nature.

The 2019 event will be a garden trail of six country gardens open to the public and a garden market with specialist plant and produce stalls, camellia flower display, homemade refreshments and a raffle to support the Maleny Hospital. This year as a point of difference Green Harvest the nationally commended organic seed, plant and gardening supply business is presenting their “Incredible Edible” garden as one of the six gardens, their shop will be open.

Maleny is nestled high in the picturesque hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, surrounded by the natural beauty of rolling mountain ranges, sub-tropical rainforests and hilly green countryside. The Event is the main fundraiser for the Maleny Garden Club Inc. Held annually since 2005, the Club has raised in excess of $130,000 which has been donated to local organisations such as the Maleny Hospital, Blackall Range Care, Rural Fire Brigade, Men’s Shed, SES and State & High School Chaplaincies.
