Food Not Bombs Fundraiser - Has Ended

Since the election of President Rodrigo Duterte in 2016, countless thousands have lost their lives to a senseless "war on drugs", a front for a war on the impoverished people of the Philippines, and a 'licence to kill' handed to police and authorities across the archipelago.

In 2018 four Food Not Bombs volunteers were the victims of extrajudicial torture and murder at the hands of Filipino police. Their names are Mokiam, Pating, Jesse Villanueva de Guzman and Patrick Paul Pile. We are holding this event to raise funds for Food Not Bombs volunteers who face injustice and oppression and to show that we stand in solidarity with the people of the Philippines. Fight war, not wars.
