Mercy Communitys Inaugural Family Roast Fundraising Event - Has Ended
DO Details
Come along to Mercy Community’s inaugural Family Roast – an opportunity to celebrate International Day of Families and raise funds for disadvantaged families in our community.
Mercy Community provides crucial services in the areas of:
- child protection
- domestic and family violence
- family support and counselling
- multicultural community support
- NDIS/disability support
- aged care
- support for people seeking asylum.
The Family Roast event will run on International Day of Families, and will centre around the theme “Families come in all shapes and sizes”. It is a celebration of diversity and an acknowledgement that every family experiences challenges of their own, making support services like Mercy Community’s incredibly vital.
Mark Henley, CEO of Queensland Council of Social Services (QCOSS) will join us on the day and will provide insight into Queensland families and the vital role community organisations play in supporting families and strengthening communities.
