Rock on the River is back again for 2019! Join us on the Hunter River for a night of fun and entertainment all the while helping us raise funds for Camp Quality to support children impacted by cancer and their families.
Camp Quality programs and services are designed to meet the specific wellbeing needs of children (0-13 years) growing up with cancer, and their families, free of charge.
We are there for children and their families from the first experience of cancer through every stage, from treatment to remission and in the case of bereavement - in hospital, at home, at school and away from it all.
Our belief in the proven principles of positive psychology forms the foundations of everything we do. We believe that laughter is the best medicine.
Help us continue supporting kids and families through their cancer experience by grabbing your nearest and dearest, bringing your picnic rug, nibbles and a bottle of wine, and enjoying the sun set over the river. Incredibly talented local bands will set the soundtrack to your day, and you can camp overnight to wake up to a delicious bacon and egg breakfast.
Hosted by NBN's Gavin Morris; the event also features a sumptuous BBQ, raffles, auctions and an array of Camp Quality style fun, entertainment and lots of laughs for the kids!

FAQs
Will the event be affected by the weather?
The event will run no matter the weather unless it is deemed unsafe.
In the case of extreme weather conditions, we will announce on our Facebook page: Camp Quality - Newcastle whether the event has been cancelled.
A new date will be organised and tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event.
Is there anything you are not allowed to bring?
You are not allowed to bring animals, fire pits or motorised bikes to this event as it is on private property.
Will there be Eftpos available?
There is very limited eftpos facilities available and will only be on hand for entry payments and auction payments. You will need cash for food stalls, kids’ activities and the raffle.
Can I buy my tickets at the gate?
Yes however there are limited tickets available so we encourage pre purchasing your tickets. It also helps with our catering/event planning.
I can’t find my tickets
Don’t worry, if you can’t locate your ticket on your email we will have access to an electronic list of all those who purchased a ticket.
