PROJECTS SUPPORTED:

  • Pacific Islands Scholarship Fund which provides young adults in Solomon Islands with the opportunity to undertake a university degree and access empowering educational programs to complete their qualifications.

  • Our GOAL for 2019: To sponsor three young women to go to the Solomon Islands National University – Janet (to become a kindergarten teacher), Selina (to become a primary school teacher), and Rose (to become a nurse).

  • Women’s Sewing Centre (Solomon Islands) has now officially opened for business. This has been established in 2017 and is spearheaded by two young women entrepreneurs, Catharine and Nelly, who have trained in sewing and are now professional tailors.

  • Our GOAL for 2019: The sewing centre is in need of renovation and expansion. We would like to support these costs.

  • Stay up to date for one more exciting project that will be initiated in Samoa!
