The Clarence Rafting Trip is a journey from the mountains to the sea, following nature’s own highway, the Clarence River. A journey of 4 nights and 5 days from December 1st to December 8th 2018, stretching over 180 km travelling between the seaward and inland Kaikoura Mountain ranges in a remote part of New Zealand’s backcountry, it will be a water adventure you won’t forget.

Spending 2-8 hours on the river each day, you’ll embark on a stunningly scenic journey comprised of lots of bends, braids, calm stretches and fun rapids. The rapids are of not more than Grade 2-3, meaning there is some maneuvering to do around mid-stream obstacles, some nice waves and challenges around what line to take, but it is by no means intimidating.

KidsXpress Sometimes it's tough being a kid. Especially when you're dealing with serious life challenges. You can feel alone – with emotions too big and complicated to handle. That's where we can help. KidsXpress offers children who are facing emotional trauma a place where they can really figure things out. Working in small groups, our therapists encourage each child to not only explore their thoughts and feelings, but to find their own ways to cope with them. Not just for now, but from now on.
