The Canberra Burns Club Highland Gathering is an annual free community event. The gathering will be commencing with Massed Bands at 10am. This family friendly event has a wide range of entertainment with something for all ages. Come along and watch the Highland Dancing competition and the ACT Pipe Band Championships with Bands from around Australia competing. Watch the displays, featuring Pipe Bands, the Capital Spirit Drill Teams and the Tartan Warriors bringing their Scottish heavy athletics to the Gathering. Enjoy Scottish themed market stalls and more. Try the Haggis at the Scottish food van and enjoy the range of food with the local food trucks. Children can have fun on the jumping castle, face painting and more.
