Grief can be an isolating experience and its expression can be unintentionally silenced by well-meaning people saying it's time to get over it. Art for the Heart is a way to creatively express what our grief is all about by using silent but powerful expression through art, craft and writing.
The work may be an act of honouring ourselves or what has been lost from our lives. The pieces are not about artistic merit but about living from your heart. Works can also be donated for a silent Auction to raise funds for Uniting Vic.Tas. 'Working together to inspire people, enliven communities & confront injustice'.
