94.7 The Pulse are holding a ‘Radio Rescue’ fundraiser on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 in an effort to gather financial support to keep its doors open while we battle an ongoing court case.
The Pulse is a not-for-profit community radio station whose programs are produced and hosted by volunteer local community members and cover the Geelong region’s important issues, services, events and local musicians.
The Pulse was recently sued by a local high profile personality for comments made on air by a former program host in July 2017. Due to growing legal fees, the station’s future looks grim and we're now calling for support from community members, organisations and businesses to rally behind us and raise funds to prevent closing our doors for good.
Join us for an evening of local beverages, food and entertainment from local musicians and help to raise funds to keep running Geelong's own community radio station.
