Upcoming event - Trivia night with candy raffles fundraiser at Alexandra Hills on Saturday 25/8
We're going to have our first trivia night at Alexandra Hills on Saturday the 25th of August. Please read the details below.
Venue: Redlands Church of Christ
Address: 51 Allenby Road, Alexandra Hills QLD 4161
When? We will open the doors at 6pm to accept deliveries of cakes and desserts. The trivial questions will start at 6:30pm sharp.
Cost? Admission is free if you bring a cake or dessert to share. If you can bake a cake or prepare a dessert, please book a free ticket.
If you don't want to bake a cake or if you don't have the time, that's ok. In this case, admission will cost $10 per head. Please book a General Admission ticket.
Can I bring my team with me? Yes, you can have up to 4 people on a team. Please ask each team member to register by booking a ticket.
What if I don't have 4 people in my team? That's ok. If you have only 2 or 3 people on your team, we will try our best to fill the tables at the venue, so you will have someone new at your table to form a team of 4 people.
You will be able to purchase raffle tickets at the door for entry to win cakes and desserts. Raffle tickets will be drawn after each category of trivia questions so there's plenty of chances to win many desserts which you can share with your team! Below are the prices for the raffle tickets:
- $5 for one raffle ticket
- $10 for three raffle tickets
Every correct answer will boost your team's score. The team with the highest score at the end of all the trivial questions will win four $25 gift vouchers from Westfield Shoppingtown.
There will be an assortment of lollies/candy on every table, so you won't go hungry and you will have enough energy to power through the questions.
Tea, coffee, poppers (fruit juice) and a variety of canned soft drinks will be available for a gold coin donation.

All proceeds from the trivia night will go towards education, medicine and hygiene for the school children and the orphans.
