Charity Dinner Event = $55 per person (plus 30c booking fee). All profits raised will contribute towards the projects of Help-A-School Foundation.
The Help-A-School Foundation is a registered Australian Charity and aims to support educational opportunities for all children (particularly girls) in remote village locations in Tamil Nadu, India. This year our main projects include establishing a dental program in the remote tribal communities in the Jawathu Hills, providing school furniture, books and stationery for village schools, and sponsoring children for educational programs and care. About the Restaurant: The Chennai Palace is South Australia’s Largest South Indian Restaurant. They boast a diverse menu of authentic Indian delicacies, made from the finest quality ingredients. The expert chefs blend Indian herbs and spices, to create dishes that are fresh, colourful and vibrant. Our Indian Feast will include favourite South Indian dishes such as Vegetable Pakora, Egg Bhaji, Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Korma, Butter Chicken accompanied with rice, papadums, Naan bread and delicious Gulab Jamun for dessert. Yum Yum!
We are also excited to have Bollywood Dancers performing some Bollywood dances, which the audience will also be invited to join in with... so don't forget your dancing shoes!
This promises to be an exciting night ... as well as raising much needed funds for children in India.
