Climate Changes Untapped Resource: Gender Equality - Has Ended
DO Details
What role does educating girls have in tackling climate change? Education is one of the most powerful levers available for avoiding emissions by curbing population growth. It builds resilience and equips girls and women to face the impacts of climate change, which has been recently ranked as the third most effective strategy to tackling climate change in Drawdown.
Join Climate Reality for networking and a panel discussing the relationship between gender, education and climate change. We will be hearing from:
- Kirsty Costa: Learning Programs Coordinator at Zoos Victoria
- Tanja Beer: academic in performance design and sustainability
- Zoe Mavros: environment captain at Melbourne Girls College
