The Big Roast Lunch for Cystic Fibrosis at Toolangi Tavern - Has Ended
DO Details
The Big Roast event is inspired by the Bowness family from Healesville whose two children, Liam 10, and Grace 9, have Cystic Fibrosis. When she was little, Grace struggled to say Cystic Fibrosis and it came out as 'Sixty Five Roasters' and from that, the idea came for them to set up The Big Roast as a fundraiser, where people could host a roast during the month of July, to raise money for The Royal Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust.
The Big Roast lunch at Toolangi Tavern will be held at 12.30pm of Saturday July 7th in front of the roaring fire in the dining room. Feast on roast lamb or pork, (alternate drop) followed by a nice warming wintry desert (think sticky date pudding or bread and butter pudding). Lunch will be served with award-winning Levantine Hill wines (generously donated by the winery). Thanks to the generosity of business’s in our local community we will also be holding a raffle with some awesome prizes up for grabs. Get your friends together for a fun afternoon of delicious food and wine and help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Research.
Tickets are $70 and $40 from your ticket will be donated to The Royal Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust.
Arrive from 12.30pm to sit down for lunch at 1.00pm
