DO Details

Welcome to Spinal Home Help and our second-ever charity fundraiser dinner.

This year we have been hard at work creating new programs, services and supports for people with spinal cord injury and their families in Brisbane.

Lead by a passionate team of people with spinal cord injury, SHH offers peer support, advocacy, referrals, information services and more, helping people transition as comfortably from hospital to home as possible, and to connect to people and services in their communities. Now it's time for us to continue to grow, especially with the rollout of the NDIS in Brisbane on July 1 this year; come and join an exciting evening to support the future of Spinal Home Help.

GUEST SPEAKERS AND ENTERTAINMENT: TBA

Dress code is smart casual.

Join us for a fantastic night of

- Speakers discussing the future of SCI support, independence and advocacy in Queensland

- Meeting the Spinal Home Help team and witnessing our vision

- Live Entertainment

- 3 Course Meal

- Charity Auction and raffle prizes

- Supporting a great cause

All funds raised will go toward maintaining and creating Spinal Home Help's range of programs, services and workshops, and hiring the staff to run them. This fundraiser will also be assisting us in our campaign to build Australia's first fully accessible accommodation and support centre for people with spinal cord injury and their loved ones here in Brisbane - we'll talk more about that on the night, and you can visit our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SpinalHomeHelpSupportCentre/ for more information.

Please advise us of any dietary or accessibility requirements - the venue is fully wheelchair accessible and the menu has vegetarian options.

Important Note: Spinal Home Help is registered with the Australian Charity and Non-Profit Commission and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. If you would like to make a seperate donation or gift toward our fundraising efforts on the night, our staff will provide you with an invoice to claim that donation on your tax.
