Can those who love kunanyi / Mt Wellington put a value on the mountain? How should that value be considered when assessing development proposals?

Join EDO Tasmania for a fascinating evening of discussion about different approaches to valuing nature and making decisions about its protection:

  • Theresa Sainty: Aboriginal connection to country

  • Dr Meg Good: Human rights approaches to environmental protection

  • Professor John Tisdell: Putting a dollar figure on ecological services

  • Dr Erin O'Donnell: Giving legal rights to rivers and mountains - the international experience

EDO members and students can attend this event for free.  To register, please contact Jess Feehely on jess.feehely@edotas.org.au or 03 6223 2770.
