Rotaract Club of Sandy Bay Dining In The Dark event - Has Ended
DO Details
People all over Australia depend on guide dogs for a varity of reasons to improve their quality of life. To continue helping these people, the Sandy Bay Rotaract club is helping the Guide Dogs Tasmania raise money for guide dog training. According to their website, it costs more than $35,000 and takes 2 years to get each dog into its working harness. Together we can help train up the future of Tasmanian Guide Dogs!
This event is a fun evening of games and a blind dinner to give people a small taste of life with vision impairment. Guests will receive a free face mask to wear while playing games and eating food. There will be several sources of information about Guide Dogs Tasmania available throughout the night. The meal is donation based with each guest donating what they would pay for a similar meal at a restaurant.
Please come and join us for a fun and educational night!
