To commemoration of the 1129 garment workers who died during the Rana Plaza
factory collapse in Bangladesh in 2013, Fashion Revolution Week is an annual campaign ran
each April calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry.

This year RMIT will run an expo of events demonstrating different ways people can participate in Fashion Revolution Week.

RMIT Oxfam Clothes Swap:

Want to pass on your unwanted clothing to someone who’ll love each piece the way it deserves? Bring your clean dresses, pants, shirts and skirts to RMIT Oxfam's Clothes Swap.

You must purchase a free ‘swapper’ ticket to receive swap tokens for your beloved items, so please RSVP and fill in your details. We will contact you with further information once you've registered!

To make this swap extra memorable, we encourage garments that are locally made, designer, vintage or fabulous, in one way or another. Just make sure you are emotionally detached from the item, as any items left over go to charity.

To qualify for swap tokens items must be in as-new or gently used condition without significant stains or faults.
