JBOYS INC would like to welcome you to join us at our Annual JBOYS Gala Ball 2018.

You are invited to join us for an evening of great entertainment and fabulous food. Ticket price includes three course fine dining, superb entertainment and auctions of fantastic prizes. All proceeds from the night are going to JBOYS Inc and our future community initiatives.

Thanks to the unbelievable support we have received from the community we have been able to continue sending Year 12 Students from Biloela State High School to attend life-saving driver education and training at Gympie Roadcraft. We are now gearing up to make 2018 the biggest and best yet, and we can't wait to continue giving back to the community. With a huge project in the pipeline, this year we are again looking to send the next group of BSH Year 12's as well as continue expanding our program to support youth from additional outback communities.

Our previous Gala Balls have been pivotal in the success of the charity, and we are excited to host another fantastic night for a great cause.

JBOYS was formed after a tragic single vehicle road accident claimed the life of Jimmy Bryant. Jimmy was not only a son, brother, nephew and grandson to his family, he was an active member of the sporting community, an active member of the Thangool Fire Station, a leader at Biloela High School and a friend and mentor to many people from all age groups, his potential in the community's future will be a great loss. Jimmy only had his car licence for 10 days, the cause of the accident was inexperience and road conditions. We have many events organised to help raise essential funds for Jimmy's charity and we are hoping that they will become regular community events, to support our future youth within Biloela and also the surrounding communities. Our first cause is to raise vital funds to provide driver training to this year's year 12 students. To send them away to Gympie to be trained and educated in road safety and driver training. Each year road crashes cause unnecessary trauma to too many Queensland families. Statistics show that young drivers account for 23% of all driver fatalities and they are at least 50% more likely to be  involved in a fatal crash. Furthermore, during the first three months of holding a provision licence, is when young drivers are at the greatest risk in their driving career. After obtaining their provisional licences, our kids are at a high risk of suffering death or serious injury on the road. We believe that along with Roadcraft driver education, we can help avoid this trauma by educating students during this early stage in their driving experience. We are committed to helping keep kids safe by providing them the vital skills, knowledge and support they need to keep themselves and others safe on the road. This year's year 12 students at Biloela State High School will benefit from participating in 2 days of driver education at the Gympie Roadcraft driver training facility. Gympie Roadcraft  are a not for profit organisation who have provided industry leading education for over 34 years. This facility provides extensive education and hands on experience far superior to any other training courses available to our students elsewhere. Our long term goals is to build a driver training facility in Biloela that will serve all of Biloela and the surrounding townships. This facility will provide a huge benefit to future drivers, with a particular focus on providing skills, training and support to young people. We know that you already understand the importance of this project as well as the urgency to protect and train young people during a time in their lives when they are vulnerable. We are sincerely appreciative of your generosity which will be of great assistance in achieving our goals. Because just one tragic accident, is one too many.
