Rainbow Evolution Art Exhibition Launch - Has Ended

Join Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) this Mardi Gras for the launch of 'Rainbow Evolution – Anarchy to Acceptance' – an exhibition of artworks produced by the participants of BGF’s 2017 Art Phoenix program.
This exhibition will be held at The Shop Gallery in Glebe and will be open from Thursday 22nd February until Wednesday 28th February 2018.
Rainbow Evolution will feature work from BGF's Art Phoenix participants, who learned about the painting processes of various artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Yayoi Kusama and Ghada Amer who are known for expressing themes of sexuality and spirituality.
BGF’s Art Phoenix is a 6-week program that aims to support HIV+ artists to creatively express themselves through the medium of art. The workshops were delivered in partnership with Pine Street Creative Arts Centre and these exceptional artworks will be showcased thanks to tutor Natalya Shinn and tutor and curator Anney Bounpraseuth.
The exhibition will launch on Thursday 22nd February 2018. Drinks will be available on opening night for a gold coin donation and artworks will be available for purchase.
