Kindness always comes back to you!

In honour of this universal principle, the Mill House Social Enterprise Accelerator and Daana Indian Cuisine are partnering to raise funds for a great cause.

Your flavourful Southern Indian meal will be prepared by expert chefs, Sunita and Sanjay Kumar. 

Come and enjoy the gift of nourishment, companionship and learn more about how social entrepreneurs, like the Kumars, are using food to create inclusion and employment opportunities for some of our most disadvantaged neighbours. 

At Karma Kitchen there is no price tag for a special 3-course Chef’s Menu. Guests show their support through pay-it-forward and pay-as-they-wish towards the charity or cause.  Daana will donate the proceeds of these meals to the to support low-income food entrepreneurs participating in the Mill House Social Enterprise Accelerator in 2018. 

Karma Kitchen is a community experience. Beyond enjoying a good meal and supporting the cause, we invite volunteers to join in to help at the event - cooking, serving, singing, or any other way that you think you can help!  

Note that the meal will be served in TWO sittings, family-style in tables of 10.  If you would like to be seated with certain people, you must reserve seats together in the same booking.

Our mission is to grow a high-quality pipeline of investible and scalable social ventures in the ACT and Region for corporate, foundation and individual social impact investors. The Mill House is a collaborative partnership between the University of Canberra, Service One, the Canberra Innovation Network and the ACT Government for the benefit of Canberra and the Capital Region.
