DO Details

Join women from the Dulwich Hill and Inner West Sydney community to celebrate International Women's Day on Thursday, 8 March 2018.

In 2017, I was inspired by the UN Women National Committee of Australia #myiwdbrekkie and decided to organise a fundraiser breakfast. The aim is to build local community and raise money for local women’s and girls refuges and for the UN Women National Committee of Australia. Last year we managed to raise over $2000.

In 2018, I’ve decided to do it again, and I’m aiming to try and improve on what we raised last year. If each of last year’s participants and donors encourage one additional person to buy a ticket, we could double the amount raised!

Lock the date in your diary, and come along to network with other women, catch up with friends and raise money for a good cause. Please bring a plate of food to share if you can. There will be lucky door prizes and raffle tickets on sale for items donated by local businesses. More details to follow.

Can't make the breakfast? You can still make a donation by purchasing a ticket or by direct payment to me.

If you are a business and would like to donate for the event, please contact me on corenasloper@yahoo.com.au

(Big thanks to Holy Trinity Church for partnering with me to use their Community Centre).

DO Supports

I'm an individual who wanted to mark International Women's Day with and in my community. What began in 2017 with the idea of breakfast in my backyard with some local women, grew into an opportunity for women (and men, if they wish!) from the broader Dulwich Hill and Inner West community to get together, network, meet new people and raise some money for worthwhile causes.
