... to Datacom’s second Charity Golf Day for MercyCare, one of WA’s leading not-for-profit organisations. All net proceeds from this very special day will be donated to MercyCare’s First Time Ever Fund, which focuses on building better lives and futures for children in Out of Home Care. Teams of four will spend a full day on the course, starting with brunch followed by the opportunity for some driving practice where players can hone their skills ahead of tee off. The day will wind down with drinks and canapés overlooking the stunning grounds of Wembley Golf Course, followed by a scrumptious three-course dinner with dynamic guest speakers, comedy and team presentations. Businesses are afforded the opportunity to gain brand exposure, recognition and exclusive experiences through a range of sponsorship packages.
About the Course
As one of the best public golf facilities in Australia, Wembley Golf Course offers two 18-hole golf courses, set in an undulating landscape of Tuart and Banksia trees, just 10 minutes away from the CBD. State of the art driving ranges and practice greens await you with ample onsite parking. Shower and locker facilities are available for the day, as well as a convenient valet bag drop service on arrival at the complex. The tournament will take place on The Tuart course which offers pristine fairways and bent grass greens. The front nine winds its way through the Tuart forest and has water in play on four holes. The back nine moves through tree lined fairways, placing a premium on driving accuracy from the tee.

MercyCare is a leading WA not-for-profit organisation providing innovative aged care, family, health, community and disability services. MercyCare employs over 1000 staff and 175 volunteers and delivers more than 40 person-centred programs and services from 35 plus locations. MercyCare’s vision is for individuals and communities to thrive. As part of this, the First Time Ever Fund was initiated to expand the world of children in fostering services and family group homes through ‘first time ever’ experiences that should be part of every childhood. This encourages kids to develop their identity as someone who matters and contributes to their bank of joy and trust in a good future. Funds will be used to create many different memorable experiences for groups and individuals including holiday camps and taking aboriginal children in care back to country for the first ever time.
Golf Day Dinner & Entertainment
Dinner will be a fantastic time to relax, network and be thoroughly entertained. Your host for the evening will be the irrepressible funny man Tim Gossage, Channel Ten Sports Presenter and 6IX Breakfast host. Joining us for the night, is comedy hypnotist Matt Hale who will perform one of the most hilariously mesmerising acts you’ll ever see and/or perhaps take part in. Matt is a winner of three national comedy awards, regularly travels between Australia, Vegas and the UK and has hypnotised people all over the world. And if you take up the exclusive Eagle Entertainment package, you’ll be lucky to have one of them join you at your dinner table.
