DO Details

The good people at Bunnings Mentone have kindly allowed us to run a Sausage Sizzle outside their store again this January!

Between 08:30 and 16:30 on January 13th 2018 we'll be selling sausages to raise funds for the Kids Like Us Bursary Fund! This fund helps us to provide services to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who would otherwise be unable to afford our support. For more information about the Kids Like Us Bursary Fund, you can visit our website here.

We are looking for volunteers aged 15+ to run two-hour shifts at our stall. To successfully do this, we need three volunteers per shift.

Shifts run between:

  • Shift 1: 08:30 - 10:30
  • Shift 2: 10:30 - 12:30
  • Shift 3: 12:30 - 14:30
  • Shift 4: 14:30 - 16:30

With previous Sausage Sizzles, we've also had interest expressed in donating things rather than time, so in the register section you'll also see options to donate the following:

  • Sausages - *160 DONATED*
  • Sauces - *DONATED*
  • Canned drinks
  • Napkins

All donations, whether of time or resources, are incredibly appreciated and we're grateful to all who help us to do what we do. We're also grateful for any donations of coffee deliveries and your company - come on by, pick up a sausage and say hello!

Every dollar raised will go towards the support of young people in need, who this year make up approximately 20% of our students.
