DO Details

OrganiseUs Digital Intensive is designed to help grow the number of people with the skills, passion and confidence needed to change the world for good.

OrganiseUs Digital Intensive is a five-day intensive training program in digital organising skills, running Feb 26-2 March, 2018 in Sydney.

Can't get to Sydney? Join us in Melbourne instead! We're running back-to-back Digital Intensives in Melbourne and Sydney. Details on our Melbourne Intensive here!

Melbourne or Sydney, the OrganiseUs Digital Intensive is for early-career campaigners or campaigners with more experience looking to broaden their digital skills.

This is a hands-on, fun, fail-safe learning environment with a twist. You'll put what you learn into immediate action, running a mock digital campaign scenario throughout the week.

What You Will Learn

  • Creating winning campaigns: strategy, tactics and analysing power.
  • Telling compelling stories: excellent email, strategic social media and testing assumptions.
  • Making media: pitching, writing, reactive and making news.
  • Digital organising: designing and building websites, action pages, data lists, running email campaigns and basic HTML.
  • Community organising: organising strategy, creating community and tool integration.
  • Fundraising: rapid response, appeals and cross-channel moneymaking.

The OrganiseUs Digital Intensive training curriculum has been compiled by Australia's best trainers, organisers and campaigners, in collaboration with the former New Organizing Institute in Washington, DC and Campaign Bootcamp in London.
