MELBOURNE LEGACY'S 87TH ANNUAL ANZAC COMMEMORATION FOR STUDENTS
Join thousands of other students in keeping the ANZAC Spirit alive by commemorating the centenary of ANZAC and the sacrificies made by men and women who have served our country.
The Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria has been invited to address the students and the ceremony will include Defence Force Cadets, school band & choir and a RAAF fly-over.

Students are encouraged to honour deceased relatives by wearing medals on their right hand side

As a symbol of remembrance, attendees will receive a sprig of rosemary

A program handed out on the day will outline the order of service

Two students from each school are invited to lay a floral tribute from their school during the ceremony (if bringing students from more than one year level then additional floral tributes can laid (max two per year level)

Schools are invited to display their banners and join a banner procession to conclude the ceremony

Bus parking is available on Birdwood Avenue & St Kilda Road eastern lane between ANZAC Ave and Domain Road

Please provide water containers, hats, sunscreen and/or wet weather gear
After this special Legacy service teachers and their students are invited inside the Shrine of Remembrance (via the Visitor Centre Courtyard) to view the Shrine Crypt and Galleries of Remembrance or lay a poppy at the Stone of Remembrance in the Sanctuary. Volunteers and staff will be positioned throughout the Shrine to engage with and answer students' questions. Subscribe to the Education E-News for quarterly updates from the Shrine Education team.
Book tickets online now with the approximate number of students to attend, if you plan to bring more than 100 students you will need to make two bookings.
