Compassion Advocate Training - Perth February 2018 - Has Ended
DO Details
You know Compassion child sponsorship works—why not tell others about it, too? As a passionate child sponsor or supporter, you are the perfect person to be a Compassion advocate.
How you advocate is limited only by your interests and talents, but generally people speak up in at least one of three ways:
- Receiving Child Sponsorship Forms in the post, and utilising their networks to find the child a sponsor.
- Volunteering at events that promote child sponsorship. From church services, to fairs and music festivals, we need people to help sign up sponsors after the event.
- Using your unique gifts to raise awareness and funds. Hosting meals and asking people to sponsor, selling handmade items, producing music or art to raise awareness…
This workshop will further equip and inspire you to speak up on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves, and will increase your understanding of Compassion’s ministry to children. You will leave fully equipped as a Compassion Advocate. If you are interested I encourage you to come along and maybe even bring a friend. Whatever way you choose to promote Compassion, you’ll be inspired and empowered to make a difference.
Dinner and refreshments provided and RSVP is essential.
