Movie Night Fundraiser: Ferdinand the Bull - Has Ended
DO Details
Please bring your family and friends to see Ferndinand the Bull for this fundraising event.
What does this event raise money for?
This is a fundraising event for the Ryan Hodges Breathe Easy Fund which was established to support ground-breaking research into precision medicine and targeted drug therapy for people who have an advanced stage cancer diagnosis.
This funding enables the progression of life-saving cancer research and the structure of Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project means that for every $1 donated towards research, $4 of research is undertaken due to a matched funding from the government and partnerships with Adelaide’s top universities.
"When I was diagnosed with a rare and highly advanced stage of cancer at the age of 32, my outlook was negative. But with ground-breaking therapy, I’ve been given the gift of time to continue building a life with my beautiful wife and to experience the wonders of life as a new dad.
Generous donations by others in the past made this possible. Now I want to ensure that others are given the same chance." - Ryan Hodges
