2017 Sydney Peace Prize Gala Dinner - Has Ended

Every year, the Sydney Peace Prize brings the Sydney community together to talk about peace, justice and nonviolence, and to honour some of the world’s most inspiring peacemakers. 

The Black Lives Matter Global Network has won the 2017 Sydney Peace Prize. The Network's founders Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi will travel to Sydney to accept the Prize.  

Join us on Friday 3 November for an intimate opportunity to meet leaders from the Black Lives Matter Global Network, network with corporate and community leaders, and celebrate the Prize with great company at a spectacular fully catered three-course dinner. Guests will also hear from speakers including The Hon. Linda Burney MP and Tracey Spicer, and enjoy music from the legendary Archie Roach. 

The annual Sydney Peace Prize Dinner is the Foundation’s fundraising event of the year, and your attendance will help us continue awarding the Sydney Peace Prize to recognise and support global leaders for peace and justice. Guests will once again be able to bid on fantastic items and experiences in a fantastic silent auction.
