Nutrition plays an important role in the treatment and management of cystic fibrosis. A person with cystic fibrosis is required to consume between 120% to 150% more than the daily amount of food recommended for their age and size. They consume a diet high in fats, salts and sugars and pay attention to the nutritional value of food to assist the absorption of vitamins to help fight infection.

Cystic Fibrosis Queensland's CEO Kitchen challenge aims to raise awareness of the nutritional needs of people living with CF and raise funds to support Queenslanders living with this incurable disease. Winners will be announced at the CEO Kitchen Celebration Awards After Party on Thursday 5 April, 6-9pm. Tickets $65 per person.

Pre-sold tickets only. To secure your place tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Donate to support your favourite CEO via Everyday Hero. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
