Haemeochromatosis - free public information session - Has Ended

A free information session about haemochromatosis will be held on Saturday afternoon from 2.00pm.
Distinguished guest speakers will talk about different aspects of haemochromatosis.
- Professor Jacob George, Westmead Hospital
- Dr Adrian Sartoretto, Gastroenterologist, The Infusion Clinic, Randwick
- Dr Daniel Wallace, Senior Lecturer, Queensland Institute of Technology (Disciplines Genetics, Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Clinical Sciences)
- Dianne Prince, President, Haemochromatosis Australia
- A representative from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service will talk about their therapeutic donor program
The panel will then conduct a question and answer session.
The full management board of Haemochromatosis Australia will be present to talk about the work our organisation does to support people affected by haemochromatosis and to raise awareness of the condition so that those at risk are detected and treated before any harm occurs.
The event will be followed by afternoon tea and then the Annual General Meeting of Haemochromatosis Australia. Guests are welcome to stay on and observe the meeting.
