ArtAbility® is a visual arts program run by ADEC that unites a range of over 100 talented artists of all ages who are living with a disability or an experience of mental ill health, who come from culturally diverse backgrounds across Victoria. ArtAbility® provides the contributors the chance to be seen as “Artists” by their peers, families and the community in general while promoting a message of ability rather than disability, strength in diversity and personal empowerment through engagement with the broader community.
Come along and enjoy some amazing local artwork created by artists living with a disability from cultural diverse communities accross Victoria.Entertainment,speakers, canapes and a chance to purchase some incredible local artwork! FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. ID will be required as proof of age for anyone wishing to purchase alcohol at the event. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Tram -Less than 1 minute walk from tram 19, Sydney Road. Bus -Two-minute walk from bus route 506 on Dawson Street. Train -Ten-minute walk from Jewell train station (500 metres). Parking - Street parking is available. Ticket parking across from the Brunswick baths on Dawson Street (400 metres). Free parking behind the Mechanics Institute on weeknights and weekends (100 metres). What is the dress code for the event?Work attire or casual is appropriate.
