Our head provides our knowledge, decisiveness and intellect; our heart provides our intuition, compassion and empathy. Neither are more important and both are essential. Both are required to build self-awareness; both are required if we are to communicate with and engage others.

NICHOLA RENTON Nichola Renton is actively and passionately involved in the performing arts sector in Western Australia, where she works as an actor, improviser, teacher, director and producer. Nichola has been Creative Director of The Actors Workshop since 2000 and writes performing arts programs for schools, community groups, corporations and prisons, emphasing the role they have in developing confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence. KARYN LISIGNOLI Karyn Lisignoli is a business and community development consultant, leadership mentor and writer. She has worked in the charitable and social sector for more than 20 years, holding the role of CEO for a range of agencies including peak bodies, a state-wide youth training organisation and an Aboriginal controlled health promotion charity. In these roles she has utilised her skills in organisational management and people development.
