On 31 October, 2017 a line-up of Australia’s greatest musicians will join forces to raise funds for Variety - the Children’s Charity at the Enmore Theatre for the first ever Variety Rocks concert.

We are pleased to announce a stellar line up of artists: Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo), Steve Balbi(Mi-Sex), Guy Delandro, Casey Donovan, Jeff Duff, Melanie Dyer, Mark Gable (Choirboys), Spencer Jones (The Voice), Steve Kilbey (The Church), Melinda Schneider, Glenn Shorrock, Alex Smith(Moving Pictures), Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc), Mark Williams (Dragon) and John Paul Young. With more artists to be added to the sensational line up soon.

What makes the concert so unique and so much fun is watching the performers put their stamp on their favourite Aussie songs. Their choices will make for an unforgettable never to be repeated musical night of nights

Aussie icon and long term Variety supporter John Paul Young is looking forward to the night.“The Variety Rocks concert combines two of my big loves, Variety the Children's Charity and the music of Vanda and Young,” he said.“Firstly, Variety ticks all the boxes for me because of the great work they do and the fun we have fundraising. Add to that, Vanda and Young because I’ll be performing their song “Friday on my Mind”, voted by the Australian public to be the best Australian song ever written and you have a very happy JPY.”

In conjunction with Empire Touring, Variety - the

Children’s Charity hopes to raise much needed funds to help Aussie kids in need.

“Variety has a long history of support from the entertainment industry and we look forward to continuing that wonderful heritage with Variety Rocks this October,” Variety NSW CEO David Sexton said. “We have an incredible line up of artists who will light up the Enmore Theatre for a night of great entertainment and fundraising to help Aussie kids facing challenges in life.”

Funds raised will go towards providing Music Therapy for the Variety Ward at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead which cares for kids battling serious illnesses.
