Join the Trek to End Bullying & Violence to help keep children safe from violence and cyber bullying.

The Alannah and Madeline Foundation was set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who were tragically killed with their mother and 32 others at Port Arthur, Tasmania, on 28 April 1996. The Foundation was launched in 1997 and has been operating for almost 20 years.

Twenty years on, the Alannah & Madeline Foundation continues to ensure that children are living a safe and happy childhood without being subjected to any form of violence.

Join us to honour 20 years of work to keep children safe from violence and our commitment to building a safer world for children.

Beginning in the port town of Hobart, you will make your way to Cape Raoul, trekking across the wilderness, taking in the striking panoramic views of the jagged cliffs and unbelievable tanzanite waters below. When we arrive at Port Arthur, we have a chance to pay our respects to those who lost their lives that day.

We will enjoy an eco cruise past Tasman Island, visit the beautiful landscape of Waterfall Bay and take a tour of Mount Wellington—a stoic reminder of Tasmania’s unique and breathtaking natural beauty.
