South Australian Italian Association Gala Dinner 2017 - Has Ended
DO Details
The South Australian Italian Association (SAIA) origins began in 1949 with the formation of the Catholic Italian Welfare Association (CIWA) in 1949 in response to an increasing Italian immigration post WWII. Since this time SAIA has grown in to a vibrant community and centre for all, preserving and promoting Italian culture, its services and experiences in partnership with the wider Italian Community of South Australia.
Each year SAIA hosts its annual gala dinner at the Carrington Centre, an iconic venue for the South Australian Italian community. The night is a fantastic evening, which includes Italian food, great entertainment and a charity auction.
As always, SAIA donates all proceeds from the evening to a different charitable or benevolent initiative. This year we are supporting Headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation and the launch of their pilot 'Youth Early Psychosis Program'.
