Circles of Life High Tea Fundraiser - Has Ended

To support the filming of our 'She Said Outback Women' documentary project, Circles of Life have been busy organizing a fantastic High Tea On The River fundraiser in the beautiful heritage listed Duhig Hall, located at Lourdes Hill College. 

The afternoon will be filled with outstanding river views, blooming jacarandas, delicious sweet & savoury treats (gluten free & vegan options), wonderful raffle prizes, drinks and our very own Kelly’s Countdown; Kelly Higgins-Devine will bring all the best hits from 60’s to now.

The lovely & bold journalist TRACEY SPICER will be joining us to chat about her book 'The Good Girl Stripped Bare', share a laugh and have some great fun. Tracey is a ruthless advocate for equality, mother-of-two and an ambassador for groups including ActionAid, World Vision, and Life’s Little Treasures.

By enjoying our High Tea On The River fundraiser what will you support?

Circles of Life Qld have gone to the country! We have been visiting Queensland’s country regions to talk to women, record our conversations and bring the silenced experiences back to you.  Thus far we have met some amazing women with some intriguing, inspiring and incredible insights to share. We see this project as a valuable opportunity to broaden our shared experiences and to showcase the courageous stories of countrywomen, through bridging the gap between the city and the country. To complete this project we are seeking sponsorship and donation support to fund the filming & editing. We can only make this happen with your help. 

Date: Sunday 22nd October 

Time: 1:30 - 4:30

Ticketing: Only limited tickets are available at $80 per person or $780 for a table of 10. 

Venue: Duhig Hall Lourdes Hill College, 86 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne QLD 4171

We would love for you to enjoy laughs, drinks, and fun with friends, family, and groups at our High Tea On The River fundraiser.

Tables will be made up of 10 seats and will be pre-allocated if you are joining us in a group, no matter the number, please let us know!
