Kidsafe Northern Territory has been working to create a safer world for Territory kids since 2003.We work closely with Government agencies, parenting support groups, child protection, health and early childhood agencies, refugee centres, local Councils, the media and the corporate sector to spread the childhood injury prevention message across five focus areas: households (including burns & scalds) roads, schools, playgrounds and water.
Kidsafe NT is focussed on preventing child accident and death from unintentional injury & reducing the severity of injuries through education, research, advocacy & the promotion of environmental, legislative & behavioural change.
