Paraburdoo Pink Ribbon Dinner - Has Ended

Get your girlfriends together and join us for a fantastic night out to raise funds and awareness of women’s cancers! Women of all ages are invited to join us for a fun night out - a sparkling venue, sumptuous dinner, totally delicious dessert, 2 wonderful guest speakers, pink champagne on arrival (or a non-alcoholic drink if you prefer), free entry into the lucky prize draw and lots lots more! 

All funds raised go directly to Cancer Council.  

Date and Time

Join us for all the fun on Saturday 28th October 2017 from 7pm.

Dress 

Dress to impress in cocktail attire - with a splash of pink!  Pink ribbons will be available for purchase on the night for just $3 if your wardrobe is a bit pink-free!

The Menu 

Two alternate mouth-watering main meals will be provided on the evening - a chicken dish and beef dish. Feel free to swap with your friends if you would prefer their dish!

Two totally delicious desserts will also be provided - a cherry ripe cheesecake and chocolate mud cake. Please advise in the booking notes section when you book on-line here as to any allergies/ intolerances you may have so that we can look after you! 

Seating

Book for yourself or for a bunch of girlfriends!  If you would like to be seated with your girlfriends as a group, please email annaoakley@bigpond.com those names by no later than Friday 20th October 2017.  Tables of 10 or less are available.  Please note that ALL persons in your requested group must have already booked their ticket via this website.  We apologize in advance that we may not be able to accommodate all requests, but we will do our best to do so.  First requests will be placed first so email us as soon as you can to avoid disappointment!  If you don't know anyone who is going and you're booking for yourself, we'll make sure we look after you and introduce you to some new friends!

Bookings

Bookings can be made on-line only via this website from 7am Saturday 16th September.  You can either book for yourself or you can book for you and your friend(s) in the same booking session - just make sure you have the name and any dietary requirements of your friend(s) and be prepared to purchase their tickets online ($60pp) by credit card at the same time.  There is a 30c booking fee per seat (charged by our webhost).  Tickets are limited this year so book early to avoid disappointment.  TICKETS FOR LAST YEAR'S EVENT SOLD OUT IN 4 DAYS - SO GET IN QUICK!

Enter our 'Best Decorated Bra' Competition!

Cancer is a pretty serious topic, but we don't want to be serious all night so we have a few little games and a great competition for you!  Just grab a bra - any bra - and decorate it however you would like.  Any theme goes! Get it to Mel before Friday 27th Oct and we'll display it on the night and get our audience to judge the 'Best Decorated Bra' on the night.  If you don't want to decorate your own bra, our wonderful friends at the Karingal Neighbourhood Centre have kindly advised they will be selling their Op Shop bras to our entrants for just $2 each.  Just tell them it's for the Pink Ribbon Dinner and they'll help you out!  We have 3 fantastic prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters so get creative and decorate a bra today!  All bra entries remain confidential (unless you're a winner on the night)!

What about the Blokes?

Gents are more than welcome to join us, but please be aware that our guest speakers will be speaking specifically about women's stuff... We don't want to make anyone feel awkward or embarrassed!  Please feel free to invite any gents that would like to join us though!

Coming Late?

We realise that many people have children, work or have working partners so feel free to make your entrance abit later than 7pm.  Dinner will be served from 7.40pm so just make sure you join us before then.  If you're going to be lots later, please let us know in advance and we'll keep your dinner warm!

Cancellations

Tickets are non-refundable, but you are welcome to on-sell your ticket to someone else.  Just email us at annaoakley@bigpond.com to advise us of the new name for the ticket.  Easy as!

Pink Ribbon Cake Stall

We'll be holding a 'Pink Ribbon Cake Stall' at the front of the IGA on Saturday 21st October from 9am-12pm to raise funds for the Cancer Council.  Pop down and buy a cake or slice or a ticket in the raffle.  There's some great prizes on offer! 

We'd love as many donations of cakes and slices as possible from anyone who can assist us so get ready to get your favourite recipes out!  All you need to do is drop your cake or slice to the stall between 8.30-9.30am on the day, and make sure it is labelled with a basic listing of ingredients.  Cakes, slices, cupcakes, muffins, pikelets, scones - anything you can make is appreciated!  Please note that items will not be refrigerated at the stall.

We Need Business Supporters!

We are currently seeking support from local businesses who might be interested in donating goods or gift vouchers that we can use as prizes in our raffle or lucky door prizes on the night.  If you're interested in helping out and supporting a very worthy cause, please contact Anna on 0418921462.  All donations small and large greatly appreciated!
