Over 200 women and some men enjoyed the annual Mary Lakey Legacy Morning Tea for Ovarian Cancer Awareness at the Brisbane Tattersals Club. Mary Lakey (nee Braid 1937-2013) survived ovarian cancer for 7 years. Everyday during those 7 years she woke up and faced each new day with courage and purpose: this purpose was to make all women aware of this insidious disease and raise money to fund the research into discovering a way to diagnose ovarian cancer.  Help the family and friends of Mary Lakey continue this formidable legacy. More event pictures and video are available on CharityDOs Facebook Page.
