Apr 14 Darrell Lea Easter Egg Hunt Supporting Red Nose - Canberra

This year Damsel & Sprout brings you something special for Easter. We have teamed up with Darrell Lea to raise much needed funds for Red Nose by bringing Canberra's biggest egg hunt to Patrick White Lawns on Good Friday morning! There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, free face painting, jumping castle and petting zoo, plus kids craft area. Live music from Ned Philpot, MAXO and Sophie Edwards.

Ticket Details: Family Pass - $30 + BF  (2 adults 2 children) Extra Child Pass - $15 Ticket FAQ: What charity does the money raised go to? Red Nose (Previously Sids & Kids) for more information on Red Nose please visit their website.  What does the $30 get me? Your $30 doesn't just get you through the gate, once inside, all activities are free. Jumping Castle, Face Painting, Games, Petting Zoo, Retiles Inc, live music and of course the Easter egg hunt for the children.  I have 2 adults and 1 child, do i still pay $30? Yes, the tickets have been costed to not only be as reasonably priced as possible, but also allow all the activities to be free of charge, yet still, and most importantly, raise as much money as we can for Red Nose. Are adults allowed to take part in the hunt? No, the Easter egg hunt is for children only, between the ages of 3 & 12 years. To keep it fair to all children, adults will not be permitted to take part in the hunt, but can watch and cheer on from the side. How visible is the hunt area, and will i be able to see my child the whole time? The hunt area will be a completely fenced, highly visible area and open ie. no structures. There will be a small amount of ground cover for the eggs to be hidden under, and the kids to rummage through. It will also be a supervised area, with trained staff. I am a single parent, with one child, do i get the family pass? 

Yes, the tickets have been costed to not only be as reasonably priced as possible, but also allow all the activities to be free of charge, yet still, and most importantly, raise as much money as we can for Red Nose. My child is under 3, can we still come? Yes, there is a registration ticket for children under 3. They will not be permitted to take part in the Easter egg hunt, however all the other activities are available to them, all we ask is you make a contribution to the donation buckets available.  My child is over 12, can we still come? Yes, there is a registration ticket for children over 12. They will not be permitted to take part in the Easter egg hunt, however all the other activities are available to them, all we ask is you make a contribution to the donation buckets available.  What is the extra child pass? The extra child pass is for anyone attending that has more than 2 children.  We have grandparents visiting for Easter, are they allowed to come too? Yes, as with any other adult, they can not take part in the hunt it's self, but are more than welcome to come and watch. All we ask is that you make a contribution to the donation buckets available.  Will food be available on the day? Yes, we have a variety of food available on the day, with proceeds from their sales being donated to Red Nose. Can i bring my own food? No, there will be food and drink available on the day, as well as water stations to refill drink bottles. Baby food and formula is permitted. What if the weather is bad? We monitor the weather very closely, the event will go ahead in most weather conditions. We may amend the start time to allow for weather. If the event is cancelled due to weather ticket holder will be notified via email, as well as social media. Can I bring my dog? No, as we have a petting zoo on site, no pets are permitted on site. Am I allowed to smoke? No, this is a smoke free event. Will there be alcohol available on the day? No, this is an alcohol free event. The hunt will be broken up into age groups in the following times. 10:00am - Gates Open 10:30am - 3 & 4 Years 11:00am - 5 & 6 Years 11:30am - 7 & 8 Years 12:00pm - 9 & 10 Years 12:30pm - 11 & 12 Years  1:00pm - Gates Close Bookings are essential and numbers are limited.
