Liptember - Pucker Up For Women's Mental Health

LIPTEMBER - PUCKER UP FOR WOMEN’S MENTAL HEALTH

Liptember helps kiss away the blues in September An innovative campaign is urging Aussie women to pucker up and use their love of lipstick to help raise vital funds and awareness for women’s mental health in September. Now in its 4th year, Liptember’s purpose is to raise funds and awareness around issues such as anxiety, self-image, post-natal depression and menopause affecting hundreds of thousands of women in Australia. Those wanting to take part in the campaign simply purchase an official Liptember Lippy from any Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist or My Beauty Spot store nationwide. Participants can then register online and seek sponsorship from family, friends and co-workers for committing to wear their Lippy throughout the month of September.

Mary Coustas, Jo Silvagni, Sophie Faulkner and Molly Meldrum are just some of those who will be puckering up for Liptember this September. All funds raised during Liptember are donated to the 24-hour crisis support service Lifeline and the Centre for Women’s Mental Health, who provide national research and programs for gender specific mental health issues for women.
