Visiting Hear and Say in Brisbane - Project Possibility

CharityDOs recently visited with Hear and Say (http://www.hearandsay.com.au/) at their Headquarters in Auchenflower Queensland. Led by Founder Dr Dimity Dornan and Charman of the Board Paul Laxon, Hear and Say is one of the leading paediatric Auditory-Verbal and Implantable Technologies (including cochlear implants) centres in the world, teaching children who are deaf to hear, listen and speak since 1992.

With 500+ children in the Hear and Say program this year, the charity relies on fundraising events and activities, and the generous support of their donors and partners. In particular Hear and Say are fundraising for their recently launched Project: Possibility Under Construction to develop a state-of-the-art hearing precinct as a part of Hear and Say's Global Headquarters. A new home for Hear and Say and a new future for deaf children.

Forthcoming fundraising events include a Melbourne Cup Luncheon at Spring Food & Wine in Felix Street Brisbane on November 5. Tickets for this event will be selling fast!
