Today more than 6000 young people find themselves being cared for in nursing homes surrounded by people in their 80s. The mission of the Summer Foundation is to create, lead and demonstrate long-term sustainable changes that stop young people from being forced to live in nursing homes because there is nowhere else for them.

Join the annual Upstream Challenge from Melbourne to Donvale on November 5 and nominate the Summer Foundation as your beneficiary. Challenge yourself by taking part in the 20km or 50km walk and help to resolve the issue of young people living in nursing homes.
