CharityDOs attended the recent Mater Foundation Red, White and Sparkling Dinner on a beautiful Queensland winter evening at the Hillstone Golf Course in St. Lucia Brisbane. The dinner raised funds for the Mater’s medical research projects and highlighted the success of the "Smiling For Smiddy" campaign that raised funds for cancer research.

During the evening we heard from speakers including the Mater Foundations’ Director Nigel Harris who updated us on the research conducted by the Mater Medical research staff.

Many dollars were donated and the silent auctions generated much needed funds for this worthy cause.

Attendees enjoyed a lovely evening of fine food and wines at Queensland’s premier wine event with four courses of fine food, beautifully matched with Robert Oatley signature wines.

The delightful dinner was followed by groovy dancing till the early hours.
