The money Ultimate High Tea for Hope 2016 raise will be going to help a project provided by The Salvation Army Tasmania called "School Tours - Expose and Experience".
School Tours Expose and Experience is designed to show Youth the services of The Salvation Army (TSA) and how they can help. It also exposes them to the impacts of drugs and alcohol, Domestic Violence and Homelessness on the individual, the family and community.
The Youth will be introduced to practical ways to make a difference. They will be introduced to survivors and they will share their stories with the students and how they can help and also prevent it from happening to them. They will have lunch with the Homeless people and see first-hand how homeless people can obtain food. And experience much much more.
This project can help making a change to the cycle and show our Youth (students) how we can help prevent and what they can do to help. It touches the heart of all of our committee and we are all very passionate about being able to make such a MASSIVE impact in our Youths of today.
