Through the support of events like Race to Survive, Cure Kids are able to continue with the vital research that is helping to find cures for diseases like cancers, heart disease, cystic fibrosis, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Type 1 diabetes and asthma.

This year, The Menzies Sydney managed by AccorHotels has pledged to raise $10,000 for Cure Kids in Fiji. This amount will contribute to the already raised FJ$2 Million by AccorHotels, partners and sponsors across Asia Pacific in previous years. Race to Survive is an intense 5 day race through some of Fiji’s most remote communities. The race is a test against endurance and fitness of the competitors who have put their hands up to participate. Participants will need to train vigorously leading up to the event to ensure that they are ready to tackle the harsh tropical environment whilst completing activities that will help better the community. This year representing The Menzies Sydney will be Joshua Bounday and Roya Teodoro. They have formed the duo team “CPT Josh & Team DestROYA”. They’ve already started a strict training program to ensure that their ready.

Fundraising through events like Race to Survive is something Joshua and Roya feel very passionate about as they have both competed in previous Australian versions of AccorHotels Race to Survive. This year will be the first year they are competing in Curekids, Fiji. Through your involvement “CPT Josh & Team DestROYA” will successfully reach their $10k goal to ensure that Cure Kids will be able to continue the fantastic work that they already do.  If you would like to help us reach our target please visit: https://accorhotelsracetosurvive.everydayhero.com/au/cpt-josh-team-destroya
