The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon is a 65Km endurance walk held to raise funds for Westmead Children’s Hospital and  Cystic Fibrosis NSW in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, the most common life threatening recessive genetic condition affecting Australian children. The event is held around the Bay Run with our base camp set up at Leichhardt Park.

The Annual event allows people to take part in one of four ways:

Ultra Endurance – Test your stamina, endurance and mental strength and join a group of walkers each walking 65km.

Team Event – Get a team together and nominate a distance to walk (21Km, 35Km, 42Km or the full 65Km)

Casual Walker – Take part as an individual, with work friends, social groups and families, just register, nominate the number of laps you will aim to complete and come along on the day.

Sponsor – No need to walk, you can simply donate or sponsor a walker or team.

The walk officially kicks off at 3:00am from Leichhardt Park, however participants can start at a later time if they are walking less then 65km.
